back to marrakech | Aaah, sunrise in the Saharan desert. |
||
Breakfast: bread & butter, & tea. |
|||
Then back on the camels.
Check out the huge flat feet!!
Turns out in the rush the night before, they put Moe on the largest camel of the pack - no wonder he was so uncomfortable. He got an easy night walk cuz now Fred has him, & he's not happy. | This little guy for Moe was much more manageable, but still very uncomfortably boney.
Now at the back of the pack with no one to talk to, Moe entertained herself with these camel shadow photos.
Our journey, starting in Marrakech & ending in Zagora.
These guys are so cute. |
|||
Now it's back in the van for a full non-stop day of driving back the same route we came to get back to Marrakech by 5 pm. It's definitely a commitment that you're willing to spend 2 days with these people, but it was incredibly enjoyable.
And our car trouble continues. This time we get a flat tire.
Fortunately before we get to the mountain where it had snowed the night before. Yes, that is a snow plow. We actually saw three of these babies.
RIGHT: A home on the mountainside. Blends right in, doesn't it?
This landscape looks so completely different from the previous day. It's amazing. But the road was equally windy.
Finally we're in the clear for the home stretch.
